The Misplaced Pages Reference Desk is a "virtual" library reference desk at the Misplaced Pages website, in which visitors ask questions which are answered by volunteers. The Reference Desk pages are editable in the same manner as other Misplaced Pages pages.

Seven "desks" are present at the Misplaced Pages Reference Desk:

  2. Science
  3. Mathematics
  4. Humanities
  5. Language
  6. Entertainment
  7. Miscellaneous

An article published in December 2009 in the Journal of Documentation evaluated the quality of the Misplaced Pages Reference Desk, and found its quality to be comparable to library reference desks staffed by professional librarians, reaching a 55 percent accuracy level.
