Paraphilic infantilism is the desire to wear diapers and be treated as a helpless infant. It is also sometimes used to refer to diaper fetishes.
Participants of infantilism often classify themselves as "Adult Babies" or "Diaper Lovers". Adult babies are those infantilists for whom the textbook definitions apply, while for a diaper lover there may not be regression to an infantile state.
