"Cold Blood" is the ninth episode in the fifth series of British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which will be broadcast in Spring 2010. It was written by Chris Chibnall, best known for his work on the science-fiction series Torchwood.
It is the second episode of a two-part story, the first episode being "The Hungry Earth", and features the return of the Silurians.
Plot
In 2015, Dr Nasreen Chaudhry is leading the deepest drilling of Earth's crust in history. But deep beneath, something is drilling up.
It is the most important day in the history of Earth: the dawn of a new age of harmony or the start of its final war.
In the latest episode of the time-travelling drama, written by Chris Chibnall, The Doctor must face his most difficult challenge yet. It is a battle in which he cannot take sides and a day when nobody must die...
