Main Topic

Threw in "The 'Red' originates from the home team colour of the Calgary Flames' Jerseys, Red, similarily characterized by the 'Sea of Red' seen at many home games in the Saddledome." cause I felt it needed atleast a little explanation. I wrote it fairly weakly, somebody else can re-write it if they want.

Red Mile

I am cancelling the redirect to Calgary Flames as I believe that the Red Mile's history in 2004, along with the controversy currently surrounding it today makes it notable enough for it's own article. I will be adding content to this article over the next several days. Resolute 23:01, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Rally

Should we update the section on the Rally, since it happened and he was the only one who showed up? --Crossmr 03:47, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Good point. I removed the fan's name and most of that paragraph entirely, as he doesnt seem notable enough for inclusion anymore. Just one of a large number of fans grumbling about the police crackdown. Resolute 23:53, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

FOREST LAWN RED MILE

please dont remove the forest lawn red mile on 17 ave se, —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.190.38.113 (talk) 07:22, 3 May 2007 (UTC).

Unless it can be sourced as being anything of significance, it will be removed. Resolute 13:32, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Beltline

There's no need to be so specific in terms of community, especially since 17th Avenue SW actually borders several communities including Lower Mount Royal. It also gave the impression (for readers unfamiliar with Calgary) that "Beltline, Calgary" might be a separate town or something. I removed this and just went with "Calgary". That's all we need for this one. 23skidoo (talk) 15:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
