Terneysky District (Template:Lang-ru) is located on the coast of Sea of Japan in the northeastern part of Primorsky Krai, Russia. The administrative center of the district is the urban-type settlement of Terney, which is the second largest in population after Plastun.
Most territory is covered with forests which are the District's main riches. Population: 14,487 (2002 Census); 15,273 (1989 Census). There are near 11,000 peoples live in Plastun and Terney. Terneysky District has a total area of 27,730 km² (more than area Republic of Macedonia). Terneysky District is the largest district of Primorsky Krai at territory and the smallest at population.
The industry is introduced by the timber processing enterprises and the fish processing factory in Svetlaya settlement.
Most part of the Primorsky Krai's largest Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve is located in this District.
There are springs of thermal radon waters in the District (Amginskoye Deposit). Tyoply Klyuch (Template:Lang-ru, lit. Warm Spring) Health Resort is based on these springs.
