The main character in a series of video games released by id Software during the 1980's and 1990's. The side-scrolling platformers were notable mainly for their use of VGA graphics, shareware distribution, and the future products of its developers. The Commander Keen games were distributed by Apogee Games.
Eight official Commander Keen games exist. They are:
