I am a database engineer at Facebook, and also have been doing Wikimedia cluster operations and performance, with some DBA hat ;-) I also was Wikimedia foundation board member Jan2008-Aug2009 (I am on advisory board now), and worked for Sun Microsystems on MySQL Oct2005-Oct2009.
