Stoic Bliss (SB) is a Bangladeshi American hiphop band from Queens, New York. Best known for the making the pioneer group for Bengali hip hop. The band consists of U.S immigrant musician. The band has sold over 600,000 copies in in native Bangladesh.

History

Early years (2004–2005)

The band was originally founded in 2003 with the collaboration of two best friend Kazi Rahman & AC1D. And officially started their journey in 2004 while they met immigrant Bangladeshi producer Rajib Rahman, better known as Double R, who had produced most of the songs of the band's last two records. Lights Years Ahead (2005–2006)

The band's debut album Lights Years Ahead was released in Bangladesh in June, 2006 with producer Double R signing with the leading record label G-series. The debut single Abar Jigay was a huge hit for the following year. with Founding member more talented rapper like Fly, Xtro, Tizzy, B1shop, Tizzy, Rul also different songs of this album. In the Stoic bliss intoduced first bengali diva Mana. As a experiment but album received welly by the Bengali hip hop music fans epecially in Bangladesh. It's hit smash like "Abar Jigay??" gained huge success to young generation of metro cities & wide played. Other songs like Mayabi Chokh, Shesh Barer Moto, Chow Mei Fun & all others were also succeed to hit the new wave to listeners. The album sold over 2,50,000 copies & that's helped Stoic Bliss to become pioneer of the bangla hip hop.

Lead single Abar Jigay is a reference to the Sean Paul's 1998 hit single Deport Them-instrumental

Kolponar Baire (2006–2007)

In the beginning of 2007 stoic bliss released their few single for radio play. Due to success of the proceedor album their second was highly anticipated to it's fan rage. Stoic bliss release their second album Kolponar Baire released in the mid of 2007 with the same production. Upcoming Projects (2008–2012)

Stoic bliss band members took few years break & minimized their performences due to members carrer purpose. Though Kazi had been heard on serveral mixed album & featured in different artist album such as Lal Miah. After a long break Stoic bliss has started to work on their new album. Few of their teaser of new songs was uploaded on their facebook, soundcloud & otheir pages. They're supposing to release their long awaited third album in 2012.
