Lauren Worsham is an American singer and actress, known for her work in the opera and music theater. Her performance in the world premiere production of David T. Little and Royce Vavrek's Dog Days earned her critical acclaim early in the 2012-2013 season, with the New Jersey Star-Ledger singling out her "breathtaking intensity". She appeared as Olive Ostrovsky in the National Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, in New York City Opera's production of Candide, and recently as Amy in the critically acclaimed staging of Where's Charley? at City Center's Encores and the Collegiate Chorale's presentation of The Mikado at Carnegie Hall. She co-founded the opera-theater company The Coterie with librettist Royce Vavrek in 2009, and currently acts as Co-Artistic Director. She is married to musician and Obie award-winning playwright Kyle Jarrow.
