The Whopper is the flagship menu item of international fast food chain Burger King. The product is a hamburger, consisting of a quarter-pound fire-grilled beef patty, sesame seed bun, lettuce, sliced onion and tomato, ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickles. Cheese may be added, and double patty, chicken, and Jr. varieties are also available.

In the United States, the cost of a Whopper ranges from $0.99 (during promotions) to $2.00 and higher. For example, in Vancouver, Washington, a Whopper costs $2.00, while Double and Chicken Whoppers cost $3.00, and the Jr. $1.00. Cheese may be added for an additional $0.40.
