Maksim Shatskikh (born August 30,1978 in Tashkent) is a professional footballer from Uzbekistan. He is currently a player for the Ukrainian Premier League team FC Dynamo Kyiv. He is a starting player for the Uzbekistan national football team. In the 1999-2000 season in Ukraine he was the sole possessor of the scoring title with 20 goals. He repeated the feat in the 2002-2003 season when he scored 22 goals to win the scoring title.
He was among three best Asian players in 2005.
