Sharon Exley (born 1958 in Rhode Island) is an educative designer and author. In 1994, she co-founded Architecture Is Fun, Inc., a Chicago research-based architecture and design firm with a focus on play, public space and design for kids, families, and communities. In 2011, Exley founded the woman-owned business, Fun Finders, a consulting and procurement company presenting a curated collection of distinctive products, objects of curiosity and custom millwork, décor and furnishings.

In 2012, with her partner and husband, Peter Exley, she was awarded the Benjamin Moore HUE Award for exceptional use of color in commercial architecture. She has authored several publications including Design For Kids, and The Best of Everything For Your Baby .
