Denis Law is a Scottish football player, who enjoyed a long and successful career as a striker from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. Law was most closely associated with Manchester United, although he also famously scored a goal against them at the very end of his career, while playing for local rivals Manchester City, which relegated them from the Football League First Division.
