The Kyoryugers (キョウリュウジャー, Kyōryūjā) are the fictional protagonists featured in the 37th Super Sentai Series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. They made their debut in the film Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: The Movie, fighting Waredonaiyer to allow Gokai Red and Red Buster to proceed onward with their mission.
Kyoryugers
The Kyoryugers (キョウリュウジャー(強・竜・者), Kyōryūjā (Kyō Ryū Ja)), short for the "People of the Strong Dragons" (強き竜の者, Tsuyoki Ryū no Mono), consist of humans who are partnered with their respective Zyudenryu to defend Earth from the Deboth Army. The current generation of Kyoryugers, five young people, announce their arrival by saying "The World's Strongest Braves, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger!" (史上最強のブレイブ、獣電戦隊キョウリュウジャー!, Shijō Saikyō no Bureibu, Jūden Sentai Kyōryūjā!) and are based in an unground shine under Japan called the Spirit Base (スピリットベース, Supiritto Bēsu) located near the Earth's core. The position of the Spirit Base is due to Japan being an ideal area that amass the energy the Zyudenchi are powered by. The Tiger Boy family restaurant acts as the team's civilian hangout.
The first kana in the five main Kyoryugers' given names spells out "dinosaur" (「ダ・イ・ノ・ソ・ア 」(ダイノソア), "Da-I-No-So-A" (dainosoa)) while the kana in their surnames also spells out "dinosaur" (「き・よ・う・り・ゆう」(恐竜), "Ki-Yo-U-Ri-Yuu" (kyōryū)) in Japanese.
Daigo Kiryu
Daigo Kiryu (桐生 ダイゴ, Kiryū Daigo), encouraging others to call him King (キング, Kingu), is a wild and gallant 20-year-old man who has a unique quality to be able to charm anyone into becoming his friend. His signature move is the Rock-Violent Punch (岩烈パンチ, Ganretsu Panchi). A decade ago, he traveled the world with his father Dantestu before he was left with his father's amber pendant and a handful of money. Though given the choice to return to Japan, Daigo sought to instead follow in his father's footsteps and continue to travel the world. When his journey brought him to an island in the south seas, fighting a group of Zorima, Daigo receives his Gaburevolver from Torin and battles Gabutyra for a month to tame him. Though he succeeds, Daigo is only able to become Kyoryu Red (キョウリュウレッド, Kyōryū Reddo) after convincing Gabutyra to let him fight alongside him. Whenever not in combat, Daigo takes random part-time jobs; sometimes as a chef at the Tiger Boy family restaurant. As Kyoryu Red, Daigo announces himself as the "Fanged Brave" (牙の勇者, Kiba no Yūsha) and tends to say "It's going to get wild, try and stop me!" (荒れるぜ、止めてみな!, Areruze, tometemina!) as his battle cry.
Daigo Kiryu is portrayed by Ryo Ryusei (竜星 涼, Ryūsei Ryō). As a child, he is portrayed by Itsuki Shibuya (渋谷 樹生, Shibuya Itsuki), who previously portrayed Young Saburo in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum. Ryusei also portrayed a dual role as Iwaizumi Mōshinosuke.
Ian Yorkland
Ian Yorkland (イアン・ヨークランド, Ian Yōkurando) is a cheerful 23-year-old casanova whose bright and dry wit personality hides a tragic past. He was originally an archaeologist who lost his treasure hunting best friend Shiro Mifune in Europe during the Deboth Army's initial attack when they were looking for a stone from a lost civilization. Surviving the ordeal, Ian was found by Torin and defeated the Zyudenryu Parasagun to become Kyoryu Black (キョウリュウブラック, Kyōryū Burakku). He originally was distant from the other Kyoryugers until Daigo enabled him to overcome the trauma he suffered from Shiro's death and become friends with his teammates. However, Ian was unaware that the Debo Monster he believed to have killed Shiro was not the culprit, but was actually Aigallon until the truth was revealed. He is also a skilled tactician, often paying attention to details such as Debo Bathisie's cavity beams as well as analysing the different abilities of the Zyudenchi. After Ian transforms into Kyoryu Black, he announces himself as the "Bullet Brave" (弾丸の勇者, Dangan no Yūsha). He has a habit of raising his hands when he becomes flustered, as well as using the phrase "Oh my!".
Ian Yorkland is portrayed by Syuusuke Saito (斉藤 秀翼, Saitō Shūsuke).
Nobuharu Udo
Nobuharu Udo (有働 ノブハル, Udō Nobuharu) is a 32-year-old handyman who defeated the Zyudenryu Stegotchi during a trip to an ice field and gained its power to become Kyoryu Blue (キョウリュウブルー, Kyōryū Burū). Previously a salaryman, the hardworking and optimistic Nobuharu moved in with his sister, Yuko, and his niece, Rika, after the untimely death of Yuko's husband, Kenichi, and took over the operations of Kenichi's Jack-of-All-Trades Marufuku (なんでもや まるふく, Nandemoya Marufuku). His peers have taken to calling him "Nossan" (ノッさん), much to his dismay. He has a penchant for doing oyaji gags, which his brother-in-law enjoyed, but usually makes his teammates groan. Originally, Nobuharu was reluctant to fight as he worried about his family getting caught in the crossfire. However, Daigo convinces Nobuharu that protecting his family is a strength rather than a weakness. After Nobuharu transforms into Kyoryu Blue, he announces himself as the "Armored Brave" (鎧の勇者, Yoroi no Yūsha) He often uses sumo kiai in battle.
Nobuharu Udo is portrayed by Yamato Kinjo (金城 大和, Kinjō Yamato).
Souji Rippukan
Souji Rippukan (立風館 ソウジ, Rippūkan Sōji) is a 16-year-old cool-headed student at Kirisaki Private High School (私立霧咲高等学校, Shiritsu Kirisaki Kōtō Gakkō) who is member of the Rippukan House (立風館家, Rippūkan-ke), a family of swordsmen who have been practicing the assassination kenjutsu Musōken (無双剣, "Peerless Sword") since the Sengoku period. Though he respects his father and what his father wants him to be, Souji resented his father for driving his mother away and is uncertain of what he wants to do with his life. As a form of defiance to his father, Souji defeated the Zyudenryu Zakutor in a bamboo thicket to become Kyoryu Green (キョウリュウグリーン, Kyōryū Gurīn) and soon developed a more feral fighting style, adopting a backhand grip which later became his personal kenjutsu Zangeki Musōken (斬撃無双剣, "Slashing Peerless Sword"). Though distant at first, Souji eventually joins the team when Daigo resolves things between him and his father. After Souji transforms into Kyoryu Green, he announces himself as the "Slashing Brave" (斬撃の勇者, Zangeki no Yūsha).
Souji Rippukan is portrayed by Akihisa Shiono (塩野 瑛久, Shiono Akihisa).
Amy Yuuzuki
Amy Yuuzuki (アミィ結月, Amyi Yūzuki) is an 18-year-old college student who is from a wealthy family. She defeated the Zyudenryu Dricera while still living in the United States and gained its power to become Kyoryu Pink (キョウリュウピンク, Kyōryū Pinku). Though she has a personal butler named Gentle who accommodates her needs, Amy works a part-time job at the Tiger Boy family restaurant. She sometimes uses English words when she becomes excited or surprised. Gentle refers to her as "Miss Amy" (アミィ様, Amyi-sama). As she is from a rich upbringing, her original headstrong personality is often suppressed by Gentle's incessant lectures on grace and elegance of character. She, however, reveals to Gentle of her true nature after defeating a handful of Zorima. Amy has a secret that only Souji currently knows of: she can use her feet as if they are a second pair of hands, a skill ironically obtained due to laziness instead of hard work. After Amy transforms into Kyoryu Pink, she announces herself as the "Horned Brave" (角の勇者, Tsuno no Yūsha).
Amy Yuuzuki is portrayed by Ayuri Konno (今野 鮎莉, Konno Ayuri).
Utsusemimaru
Utsusemimaru (空蝉丸), nicknamed Utchy (ウッチー, Utchī) by Amy, is the second of the ancient Kyoryugers to appear following Ramirez. He is a samurai from the Sengoku period who defeated the Zyudenryu Pteragordon to forge a pact and become Kyoryu Gold (キョウリュウゴールド, Kyōryū Gōrudo). He is a user of the kenjutsu Raidenken (雷電剣, "Lightning Sword"). During the Sengoku period, he served under a lord named Iwaizumi Mōshinosuke (岩泉 猛志ノ介), who bears a close resemblance to Daigo. He fought against the Deboss Army alongside Torin and Mōshinosuke until Chaos and Dogold formulated a scheme to slaughter anyone with whom Utsusemimaru has been in contact with to incite him into rage. Once he'd fallen into their trap, Utsusemimaru was sealed within Dogold's body as part of Chaos's plan to control Pteragordon. Though the plan succeeded, in the present he was presumed dead and not manifested as a Spirit, but Utsusemimaru's condition was revealed as he believed that he was Dogold himself until the Raging Knight's face shattered during his fight with Kyoryu Red. Later, with the help of Torin and Ramirez' spirit, he was able to free himself from Dogold's hold completely.
Since he's most powerful Kyoryuger of the group, able to upstage each member in their respective specialties, however, he was very bashful person and apologizing to any girls. Due to his lord's last words that his kindness is potential weakness, Utsusemimaru puts up a front of being arrogant and cocky with only Amy knowing the real him. Eventually, with Daigo helping him open up, the others learn the truth and the Kyoryugers become stronger as a result. As Kyoryu Gold, Utsusemimaru announces himself as the "Thundering Brave" (雷鳴の勇者, Raimei no Yūsha) and tends to say "Vanquishing evil in the name of heaven!" (天怒りて悪を斬る!, Ten ikarite aku o kiru!) as a battle cry. As he is originally from the Sengoku period, he uses old honorifics used by samurai, such as "de gozaru" (でござる).
Utsusemimaru is portrayed by Atsushi Maruyama (丸山 敦史, Maruyama Atsushi).
Spirit Rangers
Like Utsusemimaru, there are Kyoryugers from the distant past who predate the main five Kyoryugers. However, after death, these ancient Kyoryugers become Spirit Rangers (スピリットレンジャー, Supiritto Renjā) to remain among the living. Though ghost-like, a Spirit Ranger can manifest a physical form as long as his bond with his Zyudenryu partner is maintained. The Spirit Rangers can transform by holding up their partner Zyudenryu's Zyudenchi and saying "Spirit Ranger, Fire!" (スピリットレンジャー、ファイヤー!, Supiritto Renjā, Faiyā!).
Ramirez
Ramirez (ラミレス, Ramiresu) is the first of the ancient Kyoryugers to appear. He is a optimistic European man who became Ankydon's partner and fought as Kyoryu Cyan (キョウリュウシアン, Kyōryū Shian) five centuries ago against Debo Viruson. In the present, attempting to give Ankydon to current-generation Kyoryugers, Ramirez is forced to turn to them for help when Ankydon falls under the influence of Debo Viruson. However, with Amy's help, Ramirez's bond with Ankydon is restored as he leaves Japan to find the remaining Zyudenryu but returning to aid the Kyoryugers on occasion. As Kyoryu Cyan, Ramirez announces himself as the"Steel Brave" (鋼の勇者, Hagane no Yūsha).
Ramirez is portrayed by Robert Baldwin (ロバート・ボールドウィン, Robāto Bōrudowin), who previously portrayed Gordo in Chousei Kantai Sazer-X.
Tessai
Tessai (鉄砕) is the third ancient Kyoryuger to reveal himself. He is a focused martial artist from 6th century China who regards himself as an embodiment of the Yinyang concept while causing him to be remarkably hard-headed. When the Deboth Army attacked his homeland long ago, Tessai became Bunpachy's partner and fought the threat as Kyoryu Gray (キョウリュウグレー, Kyōryū Gurē). In present day, sensing that the Deboth Army have gotten stronger, Tessai travels to Japan to provide the current Kyoryugers with Bunpachy. However, seeing them in action against Debo Nagareboshi, Tessai deems only Utsusemimaru a worthy person to entrust his Zyudenryu to and decides to test the main Kyoryugers' worth. Although the rest of the team passes his trials, Tessai deems Daigo a hopeless cause as he has no weaknesses to overcome to become stronger and insists that Daigo to be kicked off the team before he can give them Bunpachy.
Tessai is portrayed by Masayuki Deai (出合 正幸, Deai Masayuki), who previously portrayed Eiji Takaoka/Bouken Silver in GoGo Sentai Boukenger and Ken Ashihara/Trigger Dopant in Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate and Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Eternal.
Torin
Wise God Torin (賢神トリン, Kenjin Torin) is the humanoid bird-like mentor of the Kyoryugers, the one who gave the dinosaurs the power to become the Zyudenryu during the first invasion of the Deboth Army. Mortally wounded from the battle, Torin created the Spirit Base under the "Golden Land", the mass of land that would become Japan. When the Deboth Army resurfaces over the ages, unable to personally battle them for long periods of time, Torin recruits humans to become Kyoryugers to fight the menace. Other than teleportation, Torin can also sense the Deboth Army's actions, as well as firing energy orbs and wielding a sword in battle. Torin has a habit of snapping his fingers whenever he says the word Brave (ブレイブ, Bureibu). Despite having considerable power and combat prowess, Torin is unable to fight for extended periods because of injuries sustained during his last battle with the Deboth Army. If so, his wings will turn to stone and Torin would be unable to move. He is sustained by healing inside the Spirit Base.
Wise God Torin is voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa (森川 智之, Morikawa Toshiyuki).
Allies
Dantetsu Kiryu
Dantetsu Kiryu (桐生 ダンテツ, Kiryū Dantetsu) is Daigo's father who took him on his world travels with him as a kid. However, a decade prior to the series, Dantestu left Daigo with his amber pendant and a handful of money as he was going to embark on a dangerous journey.
Dantetsu Kiryu is portrayed by Shinji Yamashita (山下 真司, Yamashita Shinji).
Shiro Mifune
Shiro Mifune (御船 士郎, Mifune Shirō) is a treasure hunter and Ian's best friend from Europe. He is then held hostage and killed by Aigallon after the Deboss Army's reawakening, wearing his invincibility cloak. Because of this, Ian thinks that Debo Doronboss, who currently has Aigallon's cloak, is Shiro's murderer.
Shiro Mifune is portrayed by Kenji Ebisawa (海老澤 健次, Ebisawa Kenji), who previously portrayed Gunpei Ishihara/Go-on Black in Engine Sentai Go-onger.
Yuko Fukui
Yuko Fukui (福井 優子, Fukui Yūko) is Nobuharu's sister. A single mother to her daughter, Rika, she was widowed when her husband, Kenichi (賢一, Ken'ichi), died four years ago. Yuko believes the Kyoryugers and the Deboss Army to be equally dangerous after a previous attack left Rika injured. Nobuharu is especially stung by Yuko's assertion, since he, as Kyoryu Blue, had been the one to tend to Rika before Yuko angrily pushed him aside. She warms slightly to Kyoryu Blue after she discovers that he had helped to rescue her from the influence of the Debo Monster Kokodoko, but is still contemptuous of him, believing him to be a loser in his 40's, much to Nobuharu's chagrin. She is the only one in her family who does not know of Nobuharu's identity as a Kyoryuger.
Yuko Fukui is portrayed by Ayumi Kinoshita (木下 あゆ美, Kinoshita Ayumi). Kinoshita previously portrayed Marika "Jasmine" Reimon/Deka Yellow in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.
Rika Fukui
Rika Fukui (福井 理香, Fukui Rika) is Yuko's daughter and Nobuharu's niece. She affectionately calls Nobuharu "Uncle Nobu" (ノブおじちゃん, Nobu-ojichan). She was injured during an attack by the Deboss Army, despite Kyoryu Blue's best efforts to protect her and her mother. Unlike Yuko, however, the headstrong Rika sees Kyoryu Blue as the mysterious hero who protected her from more serious harm that day. She later finds out that Nobuharu is Kyoryu Blue and keeps his heroic identity a secret from her mother.
Rika Fukui is portrayed by Nanami Tsunamoto (綱本 菜々美, Tsunamoto Nanami).
Genryu Rippukan
Genryu Rippukan (立風館 源流, Rippūkan Genryū) is Souji's strict father and the current head of the Rippukan House who wants Souji to follow in his footsteps. Though he originally feared Souji is deviating from their Musouken style to a feral fighting style, Genryu is amazed at his son using aspects of their kenjutsu in it. He later praises Souji for his ingenious technique and inspires him to create and apply new ways for their kenjutsu's future. He is also well versed in other sword styles as he assisted Daigo in coming up with a way to defeat the Raiden Zankou attack.
Genryu Rippukan is portrayed by Jun'ichi Haruta (春田 純一, Haruta Jun'ichi), who previously portrayed Kanpei Kuroda/Goggle Black in Dai Sentai Goggle-V and Ryu Hoshikawa/Dyna Black in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman.
Gentle
Gentle (ジェントル, Jentoru) is a title given to the Yuuzuki family's butlers. The current Gentle works to accommodate all of Amy's needs while she lives in Japan, exhorting her to always be an elegant and graceful young lady. Gentle is taken aback after he watches Amy singlehandedly taking on and defeating a group of Zorima and learns that she is a Kyoryuger, keeping it a secret from her parents at her behalf.
Gentle is portrayed by Kentaro Shimazu (島津 健太郎, Shimazu Kentarō), who previously portrayed Miu's Manager in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum.
Zyuden Arms
The Zyuden Arms (獣電アームズ, Jūden Āmuzu) comprises the equipment and arsenal utilized by the Kyoryugers in their fight against the Deboth Army.
- Gaburevolver (ガブリボルバー, Gaburiborubā): The Gaburevolver is the Kyoryugers' transformation device and firearm weapon. The Kyoryugers transform by inserting a Zyudenchi in the "mouth" of the Gaburevolver, rotating the cylinder with the activation call "Kyoryu Change" (キョウリュウチェンジ, Kyōryū Chenji), doing a short dance to the samba tune played, then pointing it upwards and pulling the trigger yelling "Fire!" (ファイヤー!, Faiyā!). When spinning the cylinder again it will announce "Vamola" (バモラー, Bamorā) and activate the Zyuden Brave Finish (獣電ブレイブフィニッシュ, Jūden Bureibu Finisshu) finishing attack. When two Zyudenchi are inserted, it will announce "Vamola Mucho" (バモラームーチョ, Bamorā Mūcho). When they do a quick cocking motion, the Gaburevolver will announce "Metcha Mucho" (メッチャムーチョ, Metcha Mūcho), and by spinning the cylinder on their right arm, the Kyoryugers perform an "Armed On" (アームドオン, Āmudo On), summoning their personal weapons as well as spiked arm guards. In some cases, the Kyoryugers transform without dancing at all.
- Gaburicalibur (ガブリカリバー, Gaburikaribā): The Gaburicalibur is the Kyoryugers' main sword-like weapon. When a Zyudenchi is inserted and cocking the sword, it will announce "Vamola" and activate the Zyuden Brave Slash (獣電ブレイブスラッシュ, Jūden Bureibu Surasshu) finishing attack.
- Gaburu Cannon (ガブルキャノン, Gaburu Kyanon): The Gaburu Cannon is formed by combining the Gaburevolver and the Gaburicalibur into a more powerful cannon. It has machine gun and shotgun modes.
- Zyuden Mobuckle (獣電モバックル, Jūden Mobakkuru): The Zyuden Mobuckle is the Kyoryugers' smartphone-like device which acts as a buckle which can hold up to three Zyudenchi. Its ringtone is similar to the chorus of "Vamola! Kyoryuger". Utsusemimaru has his own version of the ringtone, which sounds like the chorus played using Japanese instruments.
- Spirit Hammer (スピリットハンマー, Supiritto Hanmā): The Spirit Hammer is a large energy-based hammer conjured up by Kyoryu Cyan using the powers of the Ankydon Zyudenchi. It is strong enough to take down a giant Debo Monster from the ground.
- Gaburi Changer (ガブリチェンジャー, Gaburi Chenjā): The Gaburi Changer is Kyoryu Gold's transformation device and weapon. Utsusemimaru transforms by inserting the Pteragordon Zyudenchi in the "mouth" of the Gaburi Changer, pulling the lever with the activation call "Let us have a Kyoryu Change" (いざ、尋常にキョウリュウチェンジ, Iza, jinjō ni Kyōryū Chenji), doing a short dance like kabuki to the shamisen/electric guitar tune played, then yelling "Fire!". From episode 11 onward, Utsusemimaru's dance has been updated into a more faster version. Its techniques and attacks are the Dust Cloud Explosion (土煙爆, Doenbaku), the Lightning Gun Scatter Shot (雷電砲乱れ撃ち, Raidenhō Midareuchi), and the Lightning Flying Slash (雷電飛翔斬り, Raiden Hishō Giri). By combining it with the Zandar Thunder, it will activate the Lightning Linkage (稲妻連動, Inazuma Rendō) attack.
- Zandar Thunder (ザンダーサンダー, Zandā Sandā): The Zandar Thunder is Kyoryu Gold's main sword and staff-like weapon. It will announce "Zan" and activate the Thundering Dance (雷鳴の舞, Raimei no Mai) attack when only one Zyudenchi is inserted, will announce "Zandar" and activate the Lightning Shock Wave (雷電衝撃波, Raiden Shōgekiha) when only two Zyudenchi are inserted, and will announce "Zandar Thunder" and activate the Brave Finish Lightning Afterglow (ブレイブフィニッシュ雷電残光, Bureibu Finisshu Raiden Zankō) finishing attack when three Zyudenchi are inserted.
Guardians
The Guardians (ガーディアンズ, Gādianzu) are lesser Zyudenryu who supported the Ten Great Zyudenryu during their fight against the Deboss Army. They serve as the Kyoryugers' arsenal.
- Deinochaser (ディノチェイサー, Dinocheisā): A Snapping Combination between the two Deinonychus Guardian Zyudenryu tribes, the yellow Deinos Tribe (ディノス族, Dinosu Zoku) and the black Chase Tribe (チェイス族, Cheisu Zoku), which can combine together through the #11 Deinochaser Zyudenchi to serve as the Kyoryugers' motorcycles. As the Deinochaser, they can reach speeds of 300 km/h and cross any terrain. Separated, they still attack in pairs with their powerful claws.
- Deinosgrander (ディノスグランダー, Dinosugurandā): A special armor accessed through the #12 Deinosgrander Zyudenchi via a Double Armed On. Both arms of the user are armed with double gold spikes and claws in each hand. When clutched together and the Gaburevolver's trigger is pulled, the user can drill through layers of solid rock as well as underground. Its penetration level is significantly higher and faster than the DriceLance.
- Kentrospiker (ケントロスパイカー, Kentorosupaikā): A Snapping Combination of the Kyoryugers' personal weapons, formed by using the #13 Kentrospiker Zyudenchi as its core. It can be used as a harpoon-like projectile, thrown by Kyoryu Red when used in conjunction with a Zyuden Brave Finish.
- Gabutyra Fang (ガブティラファング, Gabutira Fangu): The Gabutyra Fang is Kyoryu Red's personal weapon, which can bite during punches with teeth as strong as Gabutyra. Its special attack is the Gabutyra Rock-Violent Punch (ガブティラ岩烈パンチ, Gabutira Ganretsu Panchi).
- Parasa Shot (パラサショット, Parasa Shotto): The Parasa Shot is Kyoryu Black's personal weapon, a beam gun that is just as fast and accurate as Parasagun.
- Stego Shield (ステゴシールド, Sutego Shīrudo): The Stego Shield is Kyoryu Blue's personal weapon, a powerful shield that can deflect any attack just as Stegotchi can. With this, Kyoryu Blue can perform the Stego Shield Punch (ステゴシールドパンチ, Sutego Shīrudo Panchi).
- Zakutor Slasher (ザクトルスラッシャー, Zakutoru Surasshā): The Zakutor Slasher is Kyoryu Green's personal weapon, a three-pronged slashing claw as sharp as Zakutor's blades to slice through the enemy.
- DriceLance (ドリケランス, Dorikeransu): The DriceLance is Kyoryu Pink's personal weapon, a powerful drill that can bore through the enemy's defenses just like Dricera.
- Fang Shot (ファングショット, Fangu Shotto): A Snapping Combination of the Gabutyra Fang and the Parasa Shot that Kyoryu Red uses.
- Shield LanSlasher (シールドランスラッシャー, Shīrudo Ransurasshā): A Snapping Combination of the Stego Shield, the Zakutor Slasher, and the DriceLance that Kyoryu Green uses.
Zyudenchi
The Zyudenchi (獣電池, Jūdenchi, "Beast Batteries") are special battery-like devices powered by an energy source known as Brave (ブレイブ, Bureibu) which hold the Kyoryu Spirit (キョウリュウスピリット, Kyōryū Supiritto) of the Zyudenryu which can be used to access special abilities or weapons as well as power up the Zyudenryu to their Battle Modes so they can fight and combine with other Zyudenryu. Whenever the Kyoryugers' arsenal or a Zyudenryu "bites" a Zyudenchi, it produces a sound saying "Gaburincho!" (ガブリンチョ!). When the Zyudenchi are not in use, they are kept in the Charge Box (チャージボックス, Chāji Bokkusu) in the Spirit Base to recharge the Zyudenchi's Brave. The Zyudenchi from 1 to 10 hold the Kyoryu Spirit of the Ten Great Zyudenryu (十大獣電竜, Jūdai Jūdenryū), which sealed the Deboth Army, and the Zyudenchi from 11 to 23 hold the Kyoryu Spirit of the Guardians.

Zyudenryu
The ten Zyudenryu (獣電竜, Jūdenryū, "Electric Beast Dragons") are sentient dinosaurs given power by Torin to fight the Deboth Army during their first invasion. After defeating the Deboth Army for the first time, the Zyudenryu entered a long sleep in various parts of the world until they were reawakened in response to the returned threat. When a Zyudenchi is used, the Kyouryu Spirit within the Zyudenchi causes the Zyudenryu to become a more powerful Battle Mode (戦闘モード, Sentō Mōdo), which allow them to be more suitable for combat and combine with other Zyudenryu.
- Gabutyra (ガブティラ, Gabutira): Gabutyra is a red Tyrannosaurus that normally resides in the volcano of a jungle island in the south seas until summoned. Gabutyra became Kyoryu Red's partner after Daigo had defeated the Zyudenryu, their fight lasting a month. Despite losing, Gabutyra was reluctant to place Daigo in harm's way and acted rash when attempting to destroy Debo Hyogakki before Daigo convinces the Zyudenryu to let him fight by his side. When Gabutyra enters its Battle Mode, the crest on the back of its head raises.
- Parasagun (パラサガン, Parasagan): Parasagun is a black Parasaurolophus that is normally hidden near an old castle in Europe until summoned. Parasagun became Kyoryu Black's partner after Ian had defeated the Zyudenryu in combat. When Parasagun enters its Battle Mode, its tail becomes a rifle.
- Stegotchi (ステゴッチ, Sutegotchi): Stegotchi is a blue Stegosaurus that is normally hidden underground in the North Pole until summoned. Stegotchi became Kyouryu Blue's partner after Nobuharu had defeated the Zyudenryu in combat. When Stegotchi enters its Battle Mode, a blade grows on its back.
- Zakutor (ザクトル, Zakutoru): Zakutor is a green Velociraptor that is normally hidden in a bamboo thicket somewhere in the mountains of Japan until summoned. Zakutor became Kyoryu Green's partner after Souji had defeated the Zyudenryu in combat. When Zakutor enters its Battle Mode, its tail becomes a large claw.
- Dricera (ドリケラ, Dorikera): Dricera is a pink Triceratops that is normally hidden near the Grand Canyon in the United States until summoned. Dricera became Kyoryu Pink's partner after Amy had defeated the Zyudenryu in combat. When Dricera enters its Battle Mode, its tail becomes a drill.
- Pteragordon (プテラゴードン, Puteragōdon): Pteragordon is a golden Pteranodon that is normally hidden in dark clouds until summoned. Pteragordon became Kyoryu Gold's partner during the Sengoku period. Wounded with its human partner seemingly killed, Pteragordon was sealed at Gabutyra's resting place to heal before Chaos released it to serve the Deboth Army. However, with Utsusemimaru's return, Pteragordon regains itself and fight by its fellow Zyudenryu once more. When Pteragordon enters its Battle Mode, it can emit lightning bolts.
- Ankydon (アンキドン, Ankidon): Ankydon is a cyan Ankylosaurus that is normally hidden underground in a quarry until summoned. Originally forming a pact with Ramirez in the Middle Ages, Ankydon battled Debo Wilson before being possessed by the Debo Monster until Amy tricks him out of it. When Ankydon enters its Battle Mode, its tail becomes a hammer.
- Bunpachy (ブンパッキー, Bunpakkī): Bunpachy is a gray Pachycephalosaurus that is normally hidden behind the Mannen Falls (万年滝, Mannen-daki) in China until summoned. Bunpachy became Kyoryu Gray's partner fifteen centuries ago, having spent the entire time in spiritual meditation until the Kyoryugers needed its aid. When Bunpachy enters its Battle Mode, its forehead separates and it and the Zyudenryu's tail become a morning star.
Zyuden Giants
The Zyuden Giants (獣電巨人, Jūden Kyojin) refer to the giant humanoid forms of the Zyudenryu, often through the process of Snapping Combinations (カミツキ合体, Kamitsuki Gattai). The process occurs when the Zyudenchi of the other Zyudenryu enter the main body of the combination prior to the actual combining beginning.
Kyoryuzin
Snapping Combination Kyoryuzin (カミツキ合体キョウリュウジン, Kamitsuki Gattai Kyōryūjin) is the combination of Gabutyra, Stegotchi, and Dricera. Gabutyra forms the main body, Stegotchi forms the right arm which is armed with the Stegotchi Shield (ステゴッチシールド, Sutegotchi Shīrudo), and Dricera forms the left arm which is armed with the Dricera Drill (ドリケラドリル, Dorikera Doriru). Its finishing attack is the Kyoryuzin Brave Finish (キョウリュウジンブレイブフィニッシュ, Kyōryūjin Bureibu Finisshu), where it releases a powerful beam from Gabutyra's mouth. Stegotchi can also form the Goren Zyudenken (五連獣電剣, Goren Jūdenken, "Five-Consecutive Electric Beast Sword") when all of the Kyoryugers are on board and allows Kyoryuzin to perform the Zyudenken Brave Finish (獣電剣ブレイブフィニッシュ, Jūdenken Bureibu Finisshu) by infusing the power of the five Kyoryugers and Kyoryuzin into the sword. While combining, Kyoryuzin chants "Ha! Ha! Sim, Ha! Ha!" (ハッ! ハッ! シン、ハッ! ハッ!, Ha! Ha! Shin, Ha! Ha!). After the combination is finished, Kyoryuzin chants "Ha! Ha! Ha Ha Ha!" (ハッ!ハッ! ハハハッ!, Ha! Ha! Ha Ha Ha!), followed by announcing Kyoryuzin's name and a fanfare. Whenever a Brave Finish is initiated, Kyoryuzin will roar before finishing off the enlarged Debo Monster.
- By combining Stegotchi and Zakutor with Gabutyra, Kyoryuzin becomes Kyoryuzin Stegotchi Zakutor (キョウリュウジンステゴッチザクトル, Kyōryūjin Sutegotchi Zakutoru). As Kyoryuzin Stegotchi Zakutor, Zakutor's tail forms the Zakutor Sword (ザクトルソード, Zakutoru Sōdo), while armed with the Stegotchi Shield. Its finishing attack is the Kyoryuzin Stegotchi Zakutor Brave Finish (キョウリュウジンステゴッチザクトルブレイブフィニッシュ, Kyōryūjin Sutegotchi Zakutoru Bureibu Finisshu), where a ball of fire is released from Gabutyra's mouth and wraps itself around the Zakutor Sword for a flaming slash.
- By combining Parasagun and Zakutor with Gabutyra, Kyoryuzin becomes Kyoryuzin Western (キョウリュウジンウエスタン, Kyōryūjin Uesutan). As Kyoryuzin Western, Parasagun's tail becomes the Parasa Beam Gun (パラサビームガン, Parasa Bīmu Gan) while armed with the Zakutor Sword. Its finishing attack is the Kyoryuzin Western Brave Finish (キョウリュウジンウエスタンブレイブフィニッシュ, Kyōryūjin Uesutan Bureibu Finisshu), where it uses Zakutor's slashing energy to create an orb which is propelled by Parasagun's energy shot. When Kyoryuzin Western is formed, a cowboy leifmotif is played, followed by announcing Kyoryuzin Western's name and "Yee-haw!" (イーハー!, Īhā!).
- By combining Ankydon and Dricera with Gabutyra, Kyoryuzin becomes Kyoryuzin Macho (キョウリュウジンマッチョ, Kyōryūjin Matcho). As Kyoryuzin Macho, Ankydon's tail forms the Ankydon Hammer (アンキドンハンマー, Ankidon Hanmā), while armed with the Dricera Drill. Its finishing attack is the Kyoryuzin Macho Brave Finish (キョウリュウジンマッチョブレイブフィニッシュ, Kyōryūjin Matcho Bureibu Finisshu), where it spins around to hit the opponent with the Ankydon Hammer multiple times. When Kyoryuzin Macho is formed, a tribal drumbeat is played, followed by announcing its name and "Mukkimuki!" (ムッキムキ!, Mukkimuki!).
- By combining Parasagun and Stegotchi with Gabutyra, Kyoryuzin becomes Kyoryuzin Parasagun Stegotchi (キョウリュウジンパラサガンステゴッチ, Kyōryūjin Parasagan Sutegotchi).
- When Kamen Rider Wizard uses the Super Sentai Ring, it results in a Miracle Combination (ミラクル合体, Mirakuru Gattai) between Kyoryuzin and a giant Wizardragon who is summoned from the Underworld through the use of the Miracle Ring. In this state, Wizardragon in its Strike Phase becomes Kyoryuzin's right leg and is able to perform the Zyuden Brave Strike End (獣電ブレイブストライクエンド, Jūden Bureibu Sutoraiku Endo) Rider Kick. This combination only appears in Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z.
Pteraiden-oh
Thunder Transformation Pteraiden-oh (カミナリ変形プテライデンオー, Kaminari Henkei Puteraiden'ō) is a giant robot that is Pteragordon's strongest form, armed with the Ptera Cutter (プテラカッター, Putera Kattā) blades and the Ptera Head (プテラヘッド, Putera Heddo) cannon. Its finishing attack is the Pteraiden-oh Brave Finish (プテライデンオーブレイブフィニッシュ, Puteraiden'ō Bureibu Finisshu), where it shoots a blast of lightning from the Ptera Head cannon before spinning around to perform a slashing attack with the Ptera Cutter blades.
- By combining Parasagun and Zakutor with Pteragordon, Pteraiden-oh becomes Pteraiden-oh Western (プテライデンオーウエスタン, Puteraiden'o Uesutan). Its finishing attack is the Pteraiden-oh Western Brave Finish (プテライデンオーウエスタンブレイブフィニッシュ, Puteraiden'ō Uesutan Bureibu Finisshu), where it uses the energy of the three Zyudenryu to create an orb which is shot from the Parasa Beam Gun.
- By combining Ankydon with Pteragordon, Pteraiden-oh becomes Pteraiden-oh Ankydon (プテライデンオーアンキドン, Puteraiden'o Ankidon).
Raiden Kyoryuzin
Lightning Snapping Combination Raiden Kyoryuzin (雷電カミツキ合体ライデンキョウリュウジン, Raiden Kamitsuki Gattai Raiden Kyoryujin) is the combination of Kyoryuzin and Pteragordon. It is able to fly with the Ptera Wings (プテラウイング, Putera Uingu) on the back. Its finishing attack is the Zyudenken Lightning Brave Finish (獣電剣稲妻ブレイブフィニッシュ, Jūdenken Inazuma Bureibu Finisshu) by infusing the power of the six Kyoryugers and Raiden Kyoryuzin into the sword.
