Checking contributions of users before welcoming them

Hello, please check the cotributions of users before welcoming them. Your welcome message at User talk:Fenianram wasn't really appropriate, because they are a single-purpose account with an agenda to push on Misplaced Pages. Graham87 16:05, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

I was on Huggle, and assumed good faith by pushing the button that indicates a good faith edit; this puts a welcome template on anyone who has an empty talk page. It may have been inappropriate for me to do otherwise, since assisted editing software isn't designed to revert edits of single purpose accounts. I doubt this caused any significant difficulty for you, since I notice most new editors seem to ignore welcome templates to some extent, particularly more complex ones. --I dream of horses (T) @ 16:33, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
