Questions about things.

I tried asking this on Teahouse but had issues... So can you tell me about Barnstars and Kittens and Food and when and who should I give them to? I want to upload pictures for articles about people that don't have a picture. I read the article on how to but can you explain the process in a step by step explaination? I want to make an article about a children's show. Step by step please? Is there anything else to do on Wiki other than the obvious things like editing? You can technically give kittens, food, barnstars, and other forms of Wikilove to anyone, but you shouldn't be spammy about it.

Also, editing is the essence of Misplaced Pages, but you could do things more "behind the scenes" like I do. You can copyedit, check if facts are true, link Misplaced Pages articles to other Misplaced Pages articles, or patrol for vandalism. --I dream of horses (T) @ 03:48, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

How do I "patrol for vandalism"? Do I just go around checking pages or something or is there a specific place to go? I would love to do something to fight vandalism. --DangerousJXD (talk) 02:26, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

You can go here, and investigate the edits. Over time, you'll be able to distinguish what's a good-faith edit, and what isn't at a glance, and eventually use semi-automated tools.I dream of horses (T) @ 02:40, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
