Stoic Bliss (SB) is a Bangladeshi American hip hop band. It consists of hip hop artist Kazi & rap artist Ac1d.

History

Early years

Stoic Bliss began their work when they met native producer Rajib Rahman, who produces most of their tracks. After first album Xtro, B1shop, Tizzy Montana, Rul, Mana & Fly left the band. Til then Ac1d & Kazi are the active members of the band.

Lights Years Ahead (2005–2006)

The band's debut album Lights Years Ahead (আলোক বর্ষ দূরে) was released in Bangladesh in June, 2006. This album featured early Stoic Bliss members: Xtro, B1shop, Tizzy Montana, Rul, and Fly.

The single Abar Jigay raised the group's popularity across the Bengali speakers. Light Years Ahead sold well over 250,000 copies within the first 10 months, making Stoic Bliss an emerging music group in Bangladesh. Other songs like Mayabi Chokh, Shesh Barer Moto, Chow Mei Fun were also among the listeners. This album featured early Stoic Bliss members: Xtro, B1shop, Tizzy Montana, Rul, Fly and Mana, the only female member of the group. Abar Jigay was used in different popular media.

Kolponar Baire (2006–2007)

Stoic bliss released their second album Kolponar Baire (Beyond the Imagination) in the middle of the 2007.

Upcoming Project (2008–present)

After second album the band didn't appear anywhere for few years and minimized their performances due to their members career purposes. Though Kazi was heard on several mixed & solo albums. After a long break Stoic bliss has announced their short return. Few teaser of upcoming songs is already been promoted on their Facebook, soundcloud & otheir pages. Release date is to be announced soon.
