"A New Hope" wasn't added in the first "Star Wars" film until its re-release on April 10, 1981.

I really hate to break this to you, but the title "A New Hope" wasn't added in the first "Star Wars" film until its re-release on April 10, 1981. So I suggest that you change the year from 1979 to 1981. AdamDeanHall (talk) 23:52, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Comparison of Star Trek and Star Wars, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Alexander. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Basic diagram of robots in the Lely Juno series.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Basic diagram of robots in the Lely Juno series.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  01:07, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

References

We at Misplaced Pages love evidence-based medicine. Please cite high-quality reliable sources. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. WP:MEDHOW walks through editing step by step. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 03:18, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

None of those are a high quality source. Please see WP:MEDRS. People can have constipation at any time. If you are trying to say that menstruation causes constipation you will need a proper reference. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 02:08, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Trash Bag Bunch

Please stop reverting the redirect link on this article as has been done here and here. The decision reached by discussion of other[REDACTED] editors was that the article did not meet Misplaced Pages's guidelines for inclusion but should not be deleted and should be redirected to the parent page instead. The result was not to "keep" the article as your reverts claim. Also please do not alter the note on the article's talk page as was done here. This will not change the outcome of that AFD. If you disagree with the outcome, you may initiate a new discussion and gain a different consensus for that article . --RadioFan (talk) 03:28, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

RadioFan is correct in his comments. The AfD was closed as redirect, and that decision cannot be overturned unless you take it to deletion review. Please do not change it to "keep". Rcsprinter123 (discuss) @ 15:51, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

Warning

Hi Nadirali. This and this were very inappropriate edits. You deliberately altered someone else's AfD close to make it look like the AfD closed as keep in order to revert the article to its pre-discussion version. Don't do that again. Sam Walton (talk) 21:33, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Though I stand by my above comment - you definitely shouldn't have attempted to deceive another editor like that - I just wanted to let you know that I agree that the AfD should have closed as keep, and have changed the outcome of the discussion since the original was a non-admin closure. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Pseudoscience shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Move requests

If the matter (on Star Wars) was brought up again, wouldn't it just be rejected in a land slide? I have even began making preparations for a future RM but it would likely be rejected because the consensus last time seems to be hostile towards the situation. Are you sure it would be able to get a larger amount of participants if it was brought up on WikiProject Star Wars next time? Cheers. Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 22:19, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
