I think this category is misleading and unfairly applied to only "muslims". For instance, the wiki article on Jesus doesn't categorize the article under "Christian Mythology". The same goes for many of the "popular" characters like Mary, Abraham etc. Can someone explain why the double standards ? Who gave the right to create a category called "islamic mythology" that is promoting a reductionist perception within only Islamic context.The same characters from a "Christianity" or "Judaism" perspective are not labeled under "Mythology in Christianity/ Judaism" etc.
I checked the Holy Spirity article and found no Christian mythology category. I will be cleaning this overuse. I can understand Khidr being in it but not Qur'an. Kabad (talk) 13:44, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
