The Rhythm, is a 24-hour music format produced by Westwood One. The network combines R&B songs from both Urban AC and mainstream urban formats mixed with the gold from the 90s and 2K era. Previously, the satellite-driven format was known as Classic Hip-Hop and R&B and it combined Old School Hip-Hop/Rap and Contemporary R&B music from the late 1980s to the year 2000 with much of the core playlist from the 1990s, design to target today’s more mature Generation X listeners.
