Taoyuan City (桃園 WG: T'ao-yüan) is the capital city of Taoyuan County in Taiwan, Republic of China, located in the northwestern part of the island.

Taoyuan is the native home to the Pingpu tribe of Aborigines. Taoyuan's sister city is Irvine, California.
