Hi, | |||
I'm writing to let you know that your revision was made in error.
I'm someone from the Macrophile community, a very active member. I also run the NYC Macro/Micro meetup group, and have been a constant presence online in the size community for over a decade.
This[REDACTED] page has been bothering me for years, and today I finally had to take a stand. This article is so wrong, and gives women and gay people something unusable. We want someone to google are fetish and not have to ask more questions because of gender labels in the article. It's stressful enough to come out to a partner or friend, and this article makes it no easier.
I'm a woman AND a macrophile, and half of this article reads incorrectly to me. The ONLY change I made to the article is to change pronouns to be genderless. It still reads the same for a hetero man in the GTS community.
I'm urging you to help. This is actually a serious issue. I have spoken to countless girls and women like myself who suffer with this. We don't need to be isolated and ostracized more. We are here. We're in the thousands. We aren't some blip on the radar screen. Just read the talk page and see how the community has spoken out about this. This article will lose NOTHING by changing the pronouns, and only gain more support from people who have a resource that they can point to and say "This is me." |

Is this enough number of references??
Dear, please check page Sinan Alimanović: https://en.wikipedia.org/Sinan_Alimanović I've updated his biography and applied some changes in external links as in the references (that is suggested). Is it ok now? Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lej La La La (talk • contribs) 3:42 October 1, 2015
- @Lej La La La: Yes, it's enough, however:
- I have concerns over the fact that there are no inline citations. For example, when you look at Bald Bluff Township, Henderson County, Illinois, you'll notice the linked after "As of the 2010 census, its population was 334 and it contained 159 housing units." The link goes down to the bottom of the page, where you'll find more information about the source used for that sentence. This is done with text that is put between a <ref> and a </ref>, and people often use links.
- You can learn more about citations here, or you simply ask me more questions if you wish. --I dream of horses (C) @ 03:55, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Next time, I would look carefully at this IP's contributions before welcoming as all edits were bombing me because of a I comment made at that AfD. From what I see, I'm not sure who that was but I doubt they're here to be constructive. Cheers, SwisterTwister talk 03:46, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
- @SwisterTwister: Yikes, sorry about that! --I dream of horses (C) @ 03:56, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

I thought the edit I made to the Adam Smith page to be true because I learned it in economics class. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.114.222.202 (talk) 17:54, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Babesiosis
It is in many places. Certainly New York. My husband is in White Plains Hospital CCU with it now and almost died. I don't have time to do the follow up you require, as I am exhausted and going there everyday. Educate and research, it is not well enough known and word is it is everywhere ticks are. You are doing everyone a disservice if you do not edit locations better. Call Albany Medical Center and look for infectious disease groups for info. It is downstate NY and upstate. I understand Cape Cod as well. Its too hush hush. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hoosierphilly (talk • contribs) 02:51, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Hoosierphilly: Firstly, I hope your husbands recovers.
