: in question wasn't vandalism. The individual had just died and was attempting to correct the birth/death format from (born May 28, 1969; died March 22, 2016) to the more standard (May 28, 1969 — March 22, 2016). Unfortunately due to a copyediting error I did not completely erase "born" and ended up with (bMay 28, 1969 — March 22, 2016). This was a good faith mistake and did not merit the above warning. ] (]) 15:39, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Malcolmxl5 (talk) 17:52, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
If you read the post carefully, I did not actually repeat an allegation of sockpuppetry, I simply proposed that the user edit without proxy so that the question can be resolved and asked if there was any reason not to block to open proxy ip range. 192.235.252.195 (talk) 17:58, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
You undoubtedly alleged sockpuppetry in suggesting that the user edit without proxy so that his IP could be compared with another to "resolve the question of whether there has been sock puppetry." --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:06, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
So you don't find it suspicious that a user appears after 5 years of inactivity to edit after someone with identical views was forced to recuse himself for being in COI and you don't think that's a legitimate concern to raise? You think those concerns have been addressed by the user? If so, where? 192.235.252.195 (talk) 18:09, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
I made it clear at WP:ANI that I do not see behavioural evidence to support your allegation of sockpuppetry nor is there technical evidence of sockpuppetry. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:29, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
Your opinion is subjective and of course, now that you've imposed a chill on the discussion, other users will feel unsafe disagreeing with you without risking a block. Congratulations, well done! 192.235.252.195 (talk) 18:32, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
In any case, since your block coincides with reading week, I'm out of here anyway for the next 7 days so I'll just start my wikivacation early. 192.235.252.195 (talk) 19:31, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The concern I raise is legitimate. The user in question has been found by CU to be using anonymous proxies and has provided no explanation. Nor does there seem to be a justifiable exemption under Misplaced Pages:IP block exemption. 192.235.252.195 (talk) 17:54, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Firstly, the sockpuppetry issue has been explained to you in the edit immediately preceding your renewed evidence-less accusations. Secondly, see WP:NOTTHEM. Huon (talk) 18:26, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to David Smith (Canadian senator). This contravenes Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Robvanvee 16:34, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Apologies, a source for the fact that Canadian Senators retire at 75 has been added. See 192.235.252.195 (talk) 15:37, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further notice the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Rob Ford. ⁓ Hello71 15:11, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
