In order to bridge the digital divide, MKCL started Maharashtra State-Certificate in Information Technology (MS-CIT) course in the state of Maharashtra. Since 2002, MS-CIT attempts to propagate IT Literacy and functionality among the common people and has emerged as a gateway to careers and global development opportunities to the common people. During the last thirteen years, more than 9.5 million+ learners have registered themselves for this course and have become smart users of IT. MKCL has established and is establishing Joint Venture companies with the various State Governments by investing MKCL’s funds towards 30% of the initial equity. The Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), the Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL) and the Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited (HKCL) are such collaborative endeavours.

Abroad

MKCL has also created joint ventures abroad through its subsidiary viz. MKCL International FZE, Sharjah, UAE. MKCL Arabia Ltd. (in Saudi Arabia along with its branch in Egypt) and MKCL Lanka Ltd. (in Sri Lanka) are the existing Joint Ventures.
