The Covenant is a 2006 horror film.

In the film, four young men have supernatural powers that they use for various schemes. The young men's powers dwindle each time that they use it. Their families have had these abilities for centuries. The young men are challenged with a foe that threatens to destroy all of them.

The trailer features the song "Save Yourself" by Stabbing Westward, and the opening sequence of the movie features what appears to be a remix of White Zombie's "More Human Than Human". Darkwave band Collide is confirmed to have contributed two tracks to the film's soundtrack.

Excerpts of Plot and Setting

According to a recent interview with Fangoria Magazine, the Four Young Men, or "the Sons of Ipswich" as the director and screenwriter refer to them, have inherited their powers through their respective family bloodlines. These powers allow the young men to do literally whatever they want. The powers, however, are addictive; if the men use them excessively, they will become greatly weakened and aged. Too much abuse of power could even be fatal to the young men.

The movie stars Steven Strait, Sebastian Stan, Toby Hemingway, Chace Crawford, Laura Ramsey and Taylor Kitsch, and is directed by Renny Harlin.
