Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Mark Bellhorn, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Jezebel'sPonyo 21:29, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages's definition of notable alumni

When adding notable people to Misplaced Pages (like this), know that the commonly accepted definition of notability on Misplaced Pages is that they have a Misplaced Pages article written about them. It can be done without linking to another article, but that means the full notability guideline must be followed- in other words, by giving citations to reliable sources to satisfy WP:N. tedder (talk) 15:46, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Michael Jackson, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Matlack

Please see Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Baseball#Standard infobox. We are trying to determine what is and isn't notable enough for the infobox, so feel free to take part in the discussion.--Yankees10 02:53, 7 August 2012 (UTC) That was useful and notable. He had a National League pennant, twice led the NL in shutouts, and led the American League in walks per 9 innings. All are notable statistics or achievements. -Capriaf

Only triple crown stats go in the infobox. So please stop adding it over and over and over.--Yankees10 21:22, 15 November 2012 (UTC) Shutouts leader has its own page, so you can stop deleting it. Several players have it included in their box. --Capriaf

October 2012

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Paul Ryan, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. v/r - TP 15:31, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

All-American honors

Hi, Capriaf. I would like to respectfully request that you cease deleting college All-America honors from NFL player infoboxes. First-team All-America honors, especially unanimous and consensus honors are far more significant than anything other than national championships and Super Bowl rings. They belong. Thanks. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to José Offerman may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

LeBron James

You've been a long-time editor, so just a reminder that edit warring is not allowed, and can lead to editors being blocked, especially with the three-revert rule. Please discuss your concerns at the ongoing discussion at Talk:LeBron_James#Opinions_from_Bleacher_Report in lieu of repeated addition of the same basic text. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 01:54, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Damon

Again, read . We do not add non-triple crown stats such as triples to the infobox. Stolen bases and saves are the exception.--Yankees10 23:33, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Johnny Damon shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Michael Greiner 00:15, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm General Ization. I noticed that you made a change to an article, George Zimmerman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. General Ization 18:39, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to George Zimmerman. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. General Ization 19:05, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
