Maksim Shatskikh (born August 30,1978 in Tashkent) is a professional footballer from Uzbekistan.
He is currently a forward for the Ukrainian Premier League team FC Dynamo Kyiv and also a starting player for the Uzbekistan national football team.
He has won the Ukrainian Premier League scoring title twice, in the 1999-2000 season with 20 goals and in the 2002-2003 season when he scored 22 goals to equal Serhiy Rebrov's record haul of 1997-98 while also playing for Kyiv.
He was among three best Asian players in 2005, and is regarded by many as the best Uzbekistan player by far due to his natural eye for goal and skill.
