The Winnipeg Ice are a Canadian major junior ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, that will begin competing in the Western Hockey League (WHL) in the 2019–20 WHL season. The team formerly known as the Kootenay Ice will move from Cranbrook, British Columbia, after the 2018–19 season. They are expected to play out of Wayne Fleming Arena while construction on their new rink is completed.
