Sartorius released four singles from the EP from June to October 2017. Lyric or music videos for the songs were released on Sartorius’ Vevo channel on YouTube. All singles released failed to make a chart impact.
Sartorius will go on the Left Me Hangin' Tour for the promotion of the album which started in January 2018.
The EP received mixed reviews from music critics. Brent Faulkner of The Musical Hype gave the album two stars out of five, saying "Yep, he's back. Jacob Sartorius. The 'Sweatshirt' Musical.ly star arrives a bit older – he’s now 15. With age comes maturity…supposedly. Arguably, to his credit, the teen-pop upstart has improved gradually, even if just a smidge. Still, envisioning Sartorius as the next Justin Bieber seems far-fetched. Clearly, his second EP, 'Left Me Hangin’ is stronger than his first, 'The Last Text'. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves – there’s still plenty of kinks to iron out for Sartorius".
