The number of performances of the Lion King is significantly out of date. Please change: "where it is still running after more than 6,700 performances." to "where it is still running after more than 8,500 performances." Hello! I've made the following edits to the page. Please send me a bot if you have any questions or concerns about my edits. In the last sentence of the very first paragraph, I added a citation and external link that shows that the Lion King Musical was produced by Disney Theatrical Productions. I also updated the current United States tour production dates in the Production History section directly under the subheading United States. I added the phrase "that is touring through the months of September 2018 through June of 2019." in the very first sentence under the subheading United States under Production History. Canadian Production History - Rewrite

Hello Wikipedians!

While reading the Canada section of the Production Histories of the musical, I noticed that the information in the section did not exactly match the source. It made sense to elaborate on the article as well, so I'd love my edits reviewed since they will culminate in a major change having rewritten the section! Playbill Magazine's reputable nature regarding Musical Theater confirms the need to resolve factual inconsistencies with the previous version of the section. There shouldn't be a problem, but a small mistake is easy to make! The edits I've made include a correction to the run date (Apr 25, 2000), mention of the director, as she directed the Broadway version, and the revival that occurred years later. I also included data from the theater owner on the statistics of the run. NiallCasey (talk) 21:07, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
