legging

Your comments at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Ferret legging would be welcomed. -- RHaworth 11:11, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Bubs

You added how Bubs thinks that women can't drive. That line is taken out of context. Bubs was delivering a failed stand-up act and that one line came out at random. I am going to remove those references.--Jnelson09 18:09, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Fictional psychopaths

It's always great to see a young adult like you learning and contributing what he knows to the community. I am glad you have taken the time to look at my edits to the category Fictional psychopaths, but I respectfully disagree with your choice to revert most of the edit (except the merger proposal).

Hervey Cleckley's checklist from his book The Mask of Sanity: An Attempt to Clarify Some of the Issues About the So-Called Psychopathic Personality (5th ed., 1988) has provided a useful start for people researching psychopathy, but his list has been superceded by Robert D. Hare's Psychopathy Checklist–Revised (PCL–R) for research and diagnosis. The 1988 copyright date on The Mask of Sanity is somewhat misleading as this was a revised edition published by a relative (I presume after Cleckley's death).

Psychopathy has been a major focus of study for me, and I'm interested in seeing this category let interested users discover that psychopathy is not synonymous with evil. For example, Carl Denham from the 2005 remake of King Kong displayed many psychopathic traits, but I doubt most moviegoers would conclude he's evil (reckless and manipulative, yes).--NeantHumain 19:44, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Your requested Template

I have finished your requested template for the Crash Bandicoot series characters. It is located at Template:Crash Bandicoot series characters and is currently placed on the Crash Bandicoot (character) page. I will leave it up to you to finish the contents of the template, as my knowledge of Crash Bandicoot is very limited.--SomeStranger 11:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Sonic edits: Use a template

It seems that you have been inserting a makeshift infobox on many Sonic characters' pages. The code you wrote is very long and takes a while to scroll through. Might I suggest making a template that would conform with Misplaced Pages standards and be small? Check out the template infobox at 2005 Atlantic hurricane season by looking at the code. See how small it is, yet it encompasses so much? Maybe that guy who made your Crash Bandicoot template above can help.

Instead of:

|Name || Miles Prower
|-
|Nicknames || Tails, Shorty
|-
|Species || Fox (possibly a Red Fox)
|-
|Gender || Male
|-
|Age || 8

Your template could do this:

Name=Miles Prower
Nicknames=Tails, Shorty
Species=Fox (possibly a Red Fox)
Gender=Male
Age=8

Also, a few suggestions for the "soon-to-be-template": Remove the standard image box (example: ]) for it looks ugly, and center the image inside the infobox. As it stands, all the images are on the right, which looks bad. Thanks! -- RattleMan 08:37, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

No personal attacks please

Please don't add attacks to users talk pages as you did on User talk:69.37.52.142, to learn how to deal with vandalism correctly see WP:VAND. Thanks.--Andeh 21:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Spyro vs. Crash Bandicoot articles

Most of the categorization edits you made to various Spyro articles have been removed. Please keep in mind that the only connection between the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot universes was the crossover pair of videogames, Spyro Orange and Crash Bandicoot purple. That aside, characters appearing in the Spyro universe are not an actual part of the Bandicoot universe, nor vice versa; please do not include them in irrelevant categories.

Thank you. --Stratadrake 01:39, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Talk:Plot_Synopsis_of_8-Bit_Theater

Hi,

could you take the time to pop over to that article and read over my criticism? Thanks. --R. Wolff 19:18, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for reading it, but could you leave us some feedback? Frankly, the article isn't very good in my opinion (reasons are given on the talk page), and I'd really like your input on the talk page. Thanks. --R. Wolff 12:53, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Messiahs!

They may not behave like messiahs, but I guess you're right. Serves me right for not taking a look at the category first. If Gill from Street Fighter is in there, hell, why not the Light Warriors. =P --R. Wolff 19:32, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Edit summary.

Hi. Thanks for updating the categories in the Alien (film) and The Thing articles. Is there any way that you could use an edit summary, so that people can see at a glance what you're doing. Since it looks like you're doing a lot of tedious, helpful work, I think a summary would be nice. Thanks. - Zepheus <ツィフィアス> 23:50, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Civility

I noticed an edit you made with an edit summary that appeared insulting. Please tone down the language in future edit summaries, following WP:CIVIL. Thank you. --Ginkgo100 01:18, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

One Piece

Hello. I've been working on List of One Piece episodes and I noticed that you added a bunch of edit differences to Luffy's Past! The Red-Haired Shanks Appears!. I don't know if you know of the differences for other episode, but only about half have them so far. It would be awesome if you could add more. Thanks - Peregrinefisher 20:30, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Color vs. Colour

Hi there. I just reverted an edit you made. You changed all the "colour" entries on the page Orange (colour) to "color". I reverted it because the article on orange is standardized to the "colour" spelling, including the title. Don't worry, this is a common mistake: see the Manual of Style. Please don't change the localization of the spelling in an article except to standardize it to a particular spelling if there is mixed usage such as "The color orange is nothing like the colour blue." Regards, Nihiltres 18:04, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

After checking my watchlist today, I realized that you changed each of my standardizations of articles to conform to "color." Moreover, you changed only those pages. This is extremely frustrating for me, especially in the case of Black, where my general lookover (and my edit summary) indicated that the "colour" spelling was much more widely used (see how few I changed). Please comment, I'd like to work this out amicably. Nihiltres 23:39, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm going to change both of Orange (colour) and Blue back to the British spelling, as per the Manual of Style's guideline on resolving these decisions. I will change Orange back to correspond to the spelling used in its title (per the rule that articles should be consistent), and Blue back to correspond to the dialect used by the first contributor. I'll leave Black - despite Cat's Tuxedo's needless change against my change that changed very few instances, it is the dialect of the first contributor. Hopefully this solution, aided by the MoS, can resolve this ultimately pointless conflict. I'll wait until I hear from (both of) you to go ahead and change any of the articles concerned back, to prevent this being construed as more edit warring. I'm posting this on the talk pages of both Zoe and Cat's Tuxedo. Regards, Nihiltres 01:39, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Nihongo

Why are you adding nihongo characters to articles? Specifically, this case here. Nihongo is not necessary for articles that are not Japanese in origin. --Jnelson09 00:07, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I was only trying to improve the article by adding more useful info. Basically, I was only trying to help. Hmmm. Cat's Tuxedo 00:19, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I Never Met the Dead Man

Well done on your rewording of the plot synopsis on the I Never Met the Dead Man article! I had tried previously to make it more concise, but having not seen this episode, I could only work with what there already was; your edit really made it a lot better, though. Thanks! –Dvandersluis 14:50, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

8-Bit Theater - Cultural References

I can see you're going through the comic archives and listing every single reference you come across in the article. While I'm sure this is a lot of work, I want to advise you to rethink this endeavour in terms of what it will add to the article for the average reader, i.e. someone who isn't familiar with the comic. I made an entry on the article's talk page about this, and your contribution to the discussion will be appreciated. --R. Wolff 20:52, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
