Serzh (Azati) Sargsyan (Armenian Սերժ Ազատի Սարգսյան, born on June 30, 1954 in Stepanakert, then part of the Azerbaijan SSR, today in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) is the Defense Minister of Armenia.

- 1976: Graduated from The Yerevan State University
- 1975–1979: Worked as a turner at Yerevan’s electro-technical factory
- 1979–1988: Chief of state department, first secretary. Stepanakert Municipal Committee's Propaganda and Agitation chief of department. Deputy Chief of Nagorno Karabakh Regional Committee.
- 1989–1993: The leader of The Committee of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army. Member of the National Assembly of Armenia.
