The Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I women's gymnastics-only conference. The MIC was established some years prior to 2000 for schools that sponsor women's gymnastics teams, but do not have women's gymnastics as a sponsored sport in their primary conferences.

The conference has not been recognized by the NCAA because, prior to 2012-13, it had no more than five of the six members required for recognition, and the sixth member, Lindenwood University did not become a full member of the NCAA until the summer of 2013. Despite its now having six full members, the conference still was not granted an automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA regional competitions, although several all-around competitors were invited.
