Waybackmachine

This article says: "In 2005, Yahoo! began to provide links to previous versions of pages archived on the Wayback Machine."

I cannot find Wayback references when I use Yahoo! search - what am I missing? Ottawahitech (talk) 15:16, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

WHAT DOES "POWERED BY BING" MEAN?

The expression is vague. Please replace it or explain it. Does it mean that Yahoo no longer searches, but merely presents the results of the Bing search??? (68.94.195.56 (talk) 00:51, 15 April 2014 (UTC))

Long list of languages

Is the long list of languages really appropriate for an encyclopedia article? Nurg (talk) 08:57, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

It does seem unnecessary and out-of-date perhaps. The wikilnking of all the language names should be fixed per Misplaced Pages:Only make links that are relevant to the context. --Senator2029 “Talk” 03:26, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Proposed merge with Yahoo! Slurp

Yahoo! Slurp is a Stub-class article without much potential for development. Inclusion in the broader Yahoo! Search article seems better, as it is already mentioned in the Search technology acquisition section. Senator2029 “Talk” 02:51, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

10 November 2015: I removed the merge proposal and suggested that Yahoo! Slurp is being deleted. (anonymous)
