Storylines
The professional wrestling matches at WrestleMania 33 will feature professional wrestlers performing as characters in scripted events pre-determined by the hosting promotion, WWE. Storylines between the characters played out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown.
On the July 27, 2009 episode of Monday Night Raw, Shaq would confront Chris Jericho and Big Show, which would lead to Shaq attacking Show. Shaq would then be a surprise entrance in the Andre' the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32. The both went after each other, however the rest of the superstars would eliminate them both. At the 2016 ESPY Awards on the red carpet, Big Show and Shaq had a brief confrontation. A match was proposed, with Big Show asking the Shaq if he was serious. Shaq would reveal that he accepted the match.
