Positive Money is a UK based not-for-profit organisation that campaigns for various monetary reforms.

Premise and history

Positive Money was founded by Ben Dyson in 2010, after reading the book The Grip of Death: A Study of Modern Money, Debt Slavery, and Destructive Economics by Michael Rowbotham. Its Executive Director is Fran Boait, the prospective parliamentary candidate of the Labour Party for Gloucester in the 2022 general election.

In August 2016, members of the organisation gathered in front of the Bank of England to protest against quantitative easing.

Policy ideas and proposals

Positive Money advocates a single proposal (the "sovereign money" plan).
