Azerbaijanis in Armenia
Hello. It is very unfortunate to see you engage in edit warring and modify consensus versions of articles without discussing them first. As if this was not enough, you go on to claim that I have a "responsibility" to justify to you why your non-consensus edit-warring version is not acceptable. The IWPR article is literally cited next to the sentence you are editing and if you could just take a moment to see what you are actually arguing against, instead of edit-warring, you would see for yourself what the article says: "Few Armenians know that dozens of Azerbaijanis died fleeing Armenia in 1988-89 - in Armenia the story is that the Azerbaijani minority's departure was peaceful. And while a beautiful 18th century mosque has recently been restored in Yerevan, few of its citizens recall that a small Azerbaijani mosque on what is now Vardanants Street was demolished by a bulldozer in 1990." The passage from De Waal you are citing is not acceptable because there is a difference between quoting and reporting. De Waal offers no report as to Azerbaijan destroying anything, he is just quoting a distressed Armenian citizen he runs into on the street, who is obviously not a reliable source.
