Non-monetary item

When you have enough information to write a complete article on this subject, please recreate the article. Until then, please do not recreate it in its current state since it does not have enough information to warrant a full Misplaced Pages article. Thanks, Gwernol 13:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

The same applies to Monetary item. Also, please do not add your signature to Misplaced Pages articles. Signatures should only ever go on talk pages. Thanks, Gwernol 13:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

COI

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Historical cost, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Misplaced Pages article or website of your organization in other articles (see Misplaced Pages:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked without further warning.

For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you.

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Inflation. Please be more careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Misplaced Pages without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. please do not remove references — Shinhan < talk > 12:33, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

I am the author of all this work. It is original research according to all and everyone here on Misplaced Pages and only an unproven theory to every person here on Misplaced Pages who all seem to be world experts in all fields. I am removing all of it from Misplaced Pages. Misplaced Pages does not want to know anything about this as I am being told by all these world experts all the time. So I am removing all my work from here. Thank you.

You dont own anything you write on Misplaced Pages. Read the Misplaced Pages:Text of the GNU Free Documentation License. — Shinhan < talk > 12:44, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Fine. This is all pure original research. A wild theory. There you are. I wrote the book. What more do you want? A wild, wild, wild theory. Most of it most probably lies.

Direct communication

Gregalton here. I will not refer to your past sockpuppetry as long as you log in when making contributions and use the same login consistently. I will do so if you contribute under other names or not logged in.
I am also asking you to please stop referring to me directly in your edits or edit summaries unless there is a specific reason to do so.--Gregalton (talk) 19:13, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I will refer to my past sockpuppetry as long as I want to and I will always mention that you bring it up as soon as I am on Misplaced Pages.

Please provide the link where Misplaced Pages policies state that I am not allowed to mention my past sockpuppetry or that you have brought it up in the past as soon as I get on Misplaced Pages.

It used to appear on Google right in the beginning when you google my name. I am sure it is still there. So let us have it in the open. It is in the open. I can do nothing about it.

Nicolaas Smith (talk) 19:20, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

It is a simple request to cease and desist. You can choose whether or not you wish to agree to a polite request.--Gregalton (talk) 19:25, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

You seem to have no idea what Misplaced Pages is all about. You are more worried about the reputation you built up here on Misplaced Pages.

No-one is too old to learn.

You were very polite the last time I was on Misplaced Pages. You are also very politely hiding this form the talk page. Just like you immediately archived what happened last time.

When I started posting today, you Misplaced Pages editors immmediately reverted my posts as vandalism.

When they realised it was not vandalism they still deleted my comments on their talk pages.

Misplaced Pages editors not honest enough to edit under their real names seem to all one of a kind.

When you use your real name, like I do, you are more responsible.

Nicolaas Smith (talk) 19:34, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

If you do not want me to mention your name on Misplaced Pages you will have to leave Misplaced Pages. Have you never heard about freedom of speech? You will do well in Robert Mugabe´s government.

Nicolaas Smith (talk) 19:38, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Why don´t you have this discussion on your talk page?

If we do you will immediately delete it - like the other Misplaced Pages editors this morning.

Nicolaas Smith (talk) 19:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I have no idea what you are referring to about the actions of other[REDACTED] editors.

Again, I am asking you politely to stop. If you wish to continue, that is of course up to you. I have stated clearly the reasons I've referred to your past sockpuppetry, and under what circumstances I will and will not do so.--Gregalton (talk) 19:42, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Simple English

Inflation in simple English was not a Misplaced Pages style title. It was a content fork which we do not allow. I have moved it to User:Nicolaas Smith/sandbox. Please feel free to improve inflation or the inflation article on the Simple English wiki! -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 20:19, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I see there are many, many articles about inflation in Misplaced Pages. Search the word inflation in Misplaced Pages and you can see for yourself. I wish to start an article about inflation in a layman´s language - not necessarily Simple English.
This is not about Simple English but simple to understand explanations which are two completely different concepts. Do you agree that there are many, many different articles about inflation? -- Nicolaas Smith (talk) 20:27, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

After several months contributing to Misplaced Pages, you still have not learnt that articles are not signed and that talk page threads look better with different speakers indented.

Yes, there are several articles on inflation, but that does not mean that a wilful content fork will be allowed. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 20:54, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Your recent article creations

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Misplaced Pages you will be blocked from editing. Michaelbusch (talk) 20:32, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Please go to the talk page on the article Inflation and see for yourself that a[REDACTED] editor asked for an article about inflation in easy to understand explanations.
There are many, many different articles about inflation. Is it inappropriate supplying what was asked for by another[REDACTED] editor? -- Nicolaas Smith (talk) 20:37, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

You also have not learned to create wikilinks. The talk page is mainly full of your endless chat. If you want me to look at the request you refer to, please link to it explicitly: like this. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 20:58, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

There is a lot you have not learned. Nicolaas Smith (talk) 21:00, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
