After a series of commercially successful releases with Destiny's Child and a worldwide number-one success with rapper Nelly and "Dilemma," Rowland released her pop rock-influenced solo album Simply Deep in 2002. The album became a commercial success, eventually selling more than two million copies worldwide, and garnered three more or less successful singles, among "Stole." Following the formal disbandment of the trio in 2005, Rowland's often-delayed second album, Ms. Kelly was released in 2007. The album spawned the international hit single "Work" and received both a digital and physical re-release in 2008. In 2009, she scored another number-one hit with her contribution on French DJ David Guetta's single "When Love Takes Over." During her solo career in terms of shipments, she has sold 7 million singles and 3.7 millions albums, with a total of 10.7 million records shipped.
