Hydrangenol is an isocoumarin. It can found in Hydrangea macrophylla, as well as its 8-O-glucoside. (-)-hydrangenol 4'-O-glucoside can be found in Hydrangeae Dulcis Folium, the processed leaves of H. macrophylla var. thunbergii.
