Manik Sarkar, in Template:Lang-bn, (born 1949) is an Indian politician. He has been Chief Minister of Tripura since March 1998, and is a Politburo Member of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He has a background as a prominent leader of Students Federation of India. He is governing Tripura in a coalition called the Left Front. On 10 March 2008 he swore his oath in English language, heading thus the 6th Left Front government.
