"Somebody Saved Me" is a song written and composed by Pete Townshend, The guitarist for The Who. The song is on Pete Townshend's third solo album All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes (1982). And is also on The Who's 1996 album Face Dances remaster as a bonus track.
Strange Lyrical Meaning
The Lyrics seemed to say that Pete Townshend was "Saved" a "Few Times" by "Not" having Sexual intercourse with a series of Women.
Omited from Face Dances
The Who omited "Somebody Saved Me" from their 1981 album Face Dances their first album with Kenney Jones, The song didn't seem to fit the style of The Who therefore not released on the LP.
