Tyler Scott Markle (born July 15, 1992), known as Tyler Dooley, is an American business owner and television personality. He is a reality television contestant on MTV International's upcoming show The Royal World. He is the half-nephew of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Early life
Dooley was born Tyler Scott Dooley-Markle in Los Angeles, California, to Thomas Markle Jr. and Tracy Dooley.
Career
Dooley co-owns a legal cannabis business with his mother. He created a cannabis product called "Markle Sparkle" to honor his half-aunt Meghan Markle for her marriage to Prince Harry.
Television
Dooley is set to appear on the MTV International television show The Royal World as the only American cast member. The show will feature cast members at a country estate and be treated like royalty. It is set to premiere November 7, 2018.
Personal life
Dooley currently lives in Oregon. He is the grandson of Daytime Emmy Award winning lighting director Thomas Markle Sr. and the half-nephew of former actress Meghan Markle, via his father. In May 2018, his paternal half-aunt married Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, becoming the Duchess of Sussex. He was in London on the day of the wedding, but did not attend or watch it. In an interview with Inside Edition, he released a video of him being held by the now Duchess of Sussex and described his relationship with her when they were children, saying "She was the one who just us, ‘Hey, yeah, you can stay up late.' She was so cool; I wanted to be just like her." Tyler also plays Semi-Professional football for The Renegades, and the Southern Oregon Generals.
