Hire a Woman is a 2019 Nigerian romantic comedy film produced and directed by duo Chinneylove Eze and Ifeanyi Ikpoenyi. The film stars Uzor Arukwe, Nancy Isime, Alexx Ekubo in the lead roles. The film became a box office success grossing ₦20.8 million worldwide and attained the number one highest Nigerian grossing move in March 2019 making it also number three globally with the likes of Captain Marvel.
Plot Summary
Jide is invited to a reunion with his friends from university. He is convinced by his coworker and friend to take Teni (also his coworker) to pose as his fake girlfriend in order to make his ex-girlfriend who was also attending the reunion jealous. Their ruse eventually falls apart and is replaced by a true love story.
