Weird NJ is a semiannual magazine that chronicles local legends, ghost stories, folklore and anything considered "weird" in the state of New Jersey.

Weird NJ was created in 1990 by Mark Moran and Mark Sceurman. Weird NJ started as a personal newsletter sent to friends and gradually evolved into a magazine published twice a year. There is also a website. Abandoned places, creepy experiences, unique people, and strange landmarks are common subjects for the magazine. Past issues have covered everything from the Jersey Devil and UFO sightings to abandoned Nike missile silos and the life of Zip the Pinhead.

In 2003 a Weird NJ book was published and in 2004 the creators of Weird NJ published another book called Weird US, with similar goals on a national scale, after having created the website of that name.
