Revision as of 18:26, 12 February 2007 by CroDome (talk | contribs)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)SERBIAN GENOCIDE was a systematic plan organized by the Greater Serbian political leadership to exterminate non-Serb peoples of Yugoslavia (primarily the Croats) and create an ethnically pure "Greater Serbia", a process which led to deaths of hundreds of thousands of Croats and other non-Serbs.
Over half a million Croats were exiled by the Greater Serbian war machine in 1991-1995 and eleven thousand were killed by the Chetnik armed forces (mostly civilians). In 1996-1999 over 1,000,000 Albanians were exiled from Kosovo and over 10,000 killed and in Bosnia, over one million Moslem Croats exiled and a hundred thousand slaughtered by the GreaterSerboChetnik Army.
The ICTY was created in Hague due to Serb-committed genocide, deemed the worst in the history of the Balkans and modern Europe.
The current Serbian government of Koshtunica, a former Greater Serbian nationalist, still protects Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic, the people accused for genocide by ICTY.
