The 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship (officially known as the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship) will be a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on January 20, 2025, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The eleventh College Football Playoff National Championship will determine the national champion of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for the 2024 season. It will be the final game of the 2024–25 College Football Playoff (CFP), and aside from any all-star games afterwards, the culminating game of the 2024–25 bowl season. It will be televised nationally by ESPN.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta was chosen for the game on August 16, 2022, replacing the orignally-scheduled Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada because of a conflict with the Consumer Electronics Show..

Venue

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a 71,000-seat venue in Atlanta, Georgia opened in August 2017, the retractable roof stadium is home to the National Football League (NFL)'s Atlanta Falcons as well the annual Peach Bowl. It had hosted the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship and Super Bowl LIII in 2019 respectively.

The game is scheduled to be the eleventh consecutive College Football Playoff National Championship game to be televised nationally by ESPN for the eleventh straight year.
