Derry City FC is a Irish football club playing in the Football League of Ireland, it is also the only club in the league from Northern Ireland. The club, founded in 1928, hails from Derry, Northern Ireland and plays their home matches at Brandywell Stadium. Club colours are Red and White, and the club goes by the nickname The Candystripers.
