The Ugly Stepsister (Norwegian: Den stygge stesøsteren) is an upcoming horror comedy film directed by Emilie Blichfeldt in her directorial debut. The film, starring Lea Myren, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Ane Dahl Torp, Flo Fagerli, Isac Calmroth and Malte Gårdinger, makes use of the motif in the fairy tale Cinderella and is scheduled to premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on 23 January 2025 in Section. An International co-production among Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Denmark it will be showcased as part of the Panorama at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2025.
