Bruno Dantas Nascimento (Salvador, March 6, 1978) is a Brazilian jurist, currently serving as a minister and the president of the Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU). He has been a member of the court since 2014, following his nomination by the Federal Senate, where he previously worked as a legislative consultant. He is also the current president of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

Career

Dantas served as a member of the Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público (National Council of the Public Prosecutor’s Office) (2009–2011) and the National Council of Justice (2011–2013), both by nomination of the Federal Senate.

He is the author of works on civil procedural law and regulatory law and serves as a professor at the Rio de Janeiro State University, as well as in the graduate programs of Universidade Nove de Julho and the Fundação Getulio Vargas.
